Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state-issued School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Strong knowledge of special education law and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavior intervention, and crisis response
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and parents
- Previous work in a school setting is highly valued
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic or behavioral concerns
- Participate in eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student achievement
- Implement evidence-based strategies for improving learning and behavior
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Contribute expertise in prevention, consultation, and staff development
- Track progress and maintain thorough, confidential documentation
