Job Description
A full-time school psychologist position is available in a K-12 school located in Albany, NY. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY), starting ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The work hours are 8:20 AM to 3:20 PM, onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 30-40 students across multiple grade levels.
- Providing psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions to support student learning and well-being.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintaining thorough documentation of services provided.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State School Psychologist Certification required.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, behavior intervention techniques, and educational regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
