In this contract opportunity near Adrian, MI, your expertise will be valued as you collaborate closely with educators and families to deliver comprehensive mental health and educational support services.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid psychologist credentials: either full Michigan license or Temporary/Full Approval from the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
- Professional approach aligning with collaborative educational teams
- Hands-on experience working with school-aged children
- Proficient in conducting multidisciplinary assessments
- Strong understanding of curriculum and behavioral interventions
- (Preferred) Previous experience supporting students in Special Education settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education and behavioral plans
- Provide direct support services, including counseling and intervention planning
- Monitor student progress and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer expertise in preventive strategies and crisis intervention
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment by supporting staff and students well-being
