Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) for Massachusetts
- Experience with K-12 populations preferred, but applicants with strengths in specific grade bands are encouraged to apply
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, families, and outside agencies
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and contribute to positive school climates
- Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining current knowledge in the field
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop intervention strategies that enhance student learning and promote mental health
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and behavioral intervention planning
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students throughout the K-12 spectrum
- Facilitate communication and partnerships between schools, families, and external agencies
