An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact supporting elementary and junior high school students. This role is based onsite, working closely with a single school location near Aberdeen, WA. Whether you're interested in full-time or part-time hours, you'll be providing essential psychological services to a manageable caseload of about 26 students with IEPs, collaborating with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Washington State School Psychologist License required
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification for WA State
- Experience with K-8th grade or a willingness to support a variety of student ages
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable conducting initial student evaluations throughout the school year
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, evaluations, and supports for students with IEPs
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents to design and implement intervention strategies
- Complete and document initial evaluations for students as required
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
- Support a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all assigned students
