Key Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist license in South Dakota (SD) is required
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
  • Open to varying caseloads and student needs
  • Willingness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Prior experience within South Dakota schools is highly valued
  • Interns meeting licensure criteria are encouraged to apply

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and report findings to educators and families
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to students academic, social, and behavioral goals
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote positive learning environments
  • Provide support and counseling for students, fostering resilience and emotional wellness
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation regarding student progress
  • Contribute to faculty and staff training in evidence-based practices
