Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Strong background in educational and psychological assessment
- Knowledge of IEP process, FBAs, BIPs, and special education laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate, solution-focused mindset
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct support, counseling, and intervention strategies for students and staff
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to identify and address student needs
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with all regulatory guidelines
- Assist with crisis intervention and create positive behavioral support plans
- Promote a culture of inclusion and advocate for student wellbeing
