Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Prior experience with tracheostomy care required
  • Previous pediatric nursing experience highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 38 hours of onsite, individualized nursing support each week
  • Provide ongoing tracheostomy, vent, and respiratory care for a medically complex student
  • Administer G-J tube feedings and medication throughout the school day
  • Manage ostomy care, seizure interventions, and adrenal insufficiency protocols
  • Monitor and maintain equipment such as oxygen tanks, nebulizers, and feeding pumps
  • Communicate with families, educators, and school health staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
