Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior experience with tracheostomy care required
- Previous pediatric nursing experience highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 38 hours of onsite, individualized nursing support each week
- Provide ongoing tracheostomy, vent, and respiratory care for a medically complex student
- Administer G-J tube feedings and medication throughout the school day
- Manage ostomy care, seizure interventions, and adrenal insufficiency protocols
- Monitor and maintain equipment such as oxygen tanks, nebulizers, and feeding pumps
- Communicate with families, educators, and school health staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
