A full-time Registered Nurse is needed immediately for a middle school setting in Youngsville, NC, with a contract extending through June 9, 2026. This role focuses on providing specialized nursing care and health support to a middle school student requiring tracheostomy care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to a student with a tracheostomy, adhering to the individual health plan or plan of care.
• Conduct health evaluations and assessments to monitor the students condition and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide supervision and guidance to the mother, nursing staff, or medical personnel involved in the student's care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate health documentation in compliance with school and healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with school personnel to ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required; LPNs will not be considered.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and managing complex health needs in a school setting.
• Knowledge of individual health plans, care planning, and health assessments within educational environments.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with family members and school staff.
• Commitment to student safety and advocacy in a school healthcare role.

Position Details:

• Location: Youngsville, NC
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY), ending June 9, 2026
