Job Description

A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an elementary school health room located in York, PA. This role provides essential healthcare services to elementary-aged students, supporting their well-being in a school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN PA license or RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting

Job Details:

  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM
  • Responsible for managing the health room for elementary students
  • Provide routine and emergency care, administer medications, and maintain accurate health records

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care in compliance with school policies and state regulations
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student health needs
  • Identify and assess health issues that affect student performance and attendance
  • Promote a safe and healthy school environment by implementing health education and preventive measures
