Embark on a rewarding part-time contract position supporting a vibrant 3-year-old student with specialized health needs. This unique role is available immediately through June 30, 2026, with opportunities for summer assignments and school-year renewal. Work onsite at a preschool in a collaborative, caring environment, making a real impact in a young childs daily life.
In this role, you will:
- Accompany a 3-year-old student on van transport before and after school, providing close supervision and expert medical care as needed.
- Monitor and support a child who is ambulatory, active, and has a tracheostomy (requiring a ventilator when ill).
- Work a predictable schedule each week Mondays and Fridays only, offering work-life balance.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are maintained in both school and transportation settings.
Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN licensure in Massachusetts is required.
- Strong preference for applicants with prior school-based experience.
- Experience caring for pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients highly desired.
- Comfortable working with active, ambulatory children requiring ongoing observation.
- Able to complete CORI and fingerprinting background checks per state and district requirements.
- Open to both Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses; not seeking CNAs or medical assistants.
- Candidates must be prepared for a Zoom interview.
