Your expertise will ensure students receive quality medical care, health guidance, and help maintain a safe school setting. As the key healthcare professional on campus, you will interact with administrators, staff members, families, and kidsserving as a trusted resource for daily and emergency needs.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active and unencumbered RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Solid assessment and triage skills
- Ability to provide first aid and emergency care appropriately
- Comfortable communicating sensitive information with children, parents, and staff
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate records
- CPR/BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily medical care to students and staff
- Respond quickly to urgent health situations and emergencies
- Administer medications and manage student care plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administration regarding student needs
- Educate students on health and wellness topics
- Promote school-wide best practices in infection control and public health
