An opportunity is available for a dedicated Nurse to provide care within a school setting in Woodburn, OR. This contracted position supports students in grades 3-5 and involves managing health and wellness services to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Oregon Nursing Licensure (RN)
- Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential preferred
- Experience working in school health settings is an advantage
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for school-age children
Position Details:
- Contract role, 37.5 hours per week
- Five days per week schedule
- Caseload includes students in grades 3 through 5
- Provide health assessments, emergency care, medication administration, and health education
Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care consistent with school health policies and procedures
- Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
- Monitor and maintain student health records
- Promote healthy habits and illness prevention
