A healthcare professional is needed to provide nursing services within a school setting, focusing on care for young children. This contract position is based in Athens, GA, supporting 4-year-old students with daily health-related needs and specialized medical care.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid GA RN or LPN license is required
- Recent experience (within the past year) with tracheostomy care
- Background in school nursing preferred
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Athens, GA
- Full-time commitment: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to preschool-aged students
- Manage and monitor medical needs, including tracheostomy care
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student health
- Maintain accurate health records and emergency protocols
- Promote a safe and healthy school environment
