Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Previous experience as a school nurse required
• Must demonstrate competency with diabetic care, g-tube, and seizure management
• Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) will not be considered

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to elementary students
• Serve as the onsite school staff nurse during school hours (8:45am3:45pm)
• Oversee chronic health management and respond to acute health needs
• Coordinate care plans for students with specialized medical requirements
• Maintain accurate health records and provide education to staff and students
