A full-time per diem Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to provide healthcare support within a K-12 school setting. This role involves offering coverage for the school health office, supporting 1:1 nursing assignments when regular staff are unavailable, and assisting during school events. The assignment spans from the current date through June 20, 2026, with opportunities for full-time coverage a few times per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health services to students across K-12 grades.
• Support students with a variety of disabilities, ensuring individualized care.
• Substitute for school health room staff and 1:1 nursing roles as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to address student health needs.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with school nursing standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN license is required.
• Prior experience as a school nurse or pediatric RN preferred.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various school environments.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families.
• Familiarity with health protocols applicable in school settings.

Location Details: While the job is based in Westfield, MA, travel to nearby communities including Granby, Holyoke, and Northampton may be required as part of the assignment.
