Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois RN license required
- Previous experience in school nursing or community health preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with K-12 populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in a school setting
Responsibilities:
- Administer immediate care for illnesses and injuries during school hours
- Manage health plans for students with chronic conditions, allergies, and individualized needs
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation for compliance and reporting
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on health-related matters and preventive practices
- Support the development of a safe, inclusive, and healthy school atmosphere
