Step into a rewarding role serving elementary students as a compassionate and skilled nurse in a school setting near Warwick, RI. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers you a consistent part-time schedule16 hours per weeksupporting young learners in a single elementary school. Your mornings and afternoons will be dedicated to student care, working from 8:009:30am and 2:454:15pm Monday through Friday. Youll be compensated for 4 hours each day, ensuring reliability and value for your commitment, regardless of the actual amount of time spent with students.

In this position, youll work as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), integrating with school staff and serving an elementary caseload. Your responsibilities will include:

Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN license required
• Previous pediatric, school, or similar experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting the school environment and student well-being

Key Duties:

• Deliver healthcare support and daily nursing care to elementary-aged students
• Respond to health needs, support those with ongoing chronic issues, and handle medical emergencies
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administration, and support staff
• Document observations/treatments following school district standards
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and basic wellness as needed
