Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active Louisiana RN license required
• Previous school nursing experience highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation of the health room, providing direct care and first aid for students and staff

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and district protocols
• Keep accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and additional healthcare professionals
• Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and preventative health practices
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and support emergency response procedures
• Contribute to the overall health and safety of the school community
