As a school nurse in this elementary setting, youll collaborate with dedicated educators and staff, positively impacting young lives daily. Key Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN license in Rhode Island (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate, approachable, and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and emergency response, for elementary-age students
- Conduct health assessments and collaborate with school staff to support student well-being
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality
- Serve as a health resource and advocate for students, families, and staff
