This part-time Registered Nurse position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide dedicated healthcare support to an elementary student in a school setting located in Wakefield, RI. The role involves working closely with one student, ensuring their health needs are met while accompanying them on the school bus.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working with children or in school health settings preferred
Role Details:
- Part-time schedule, 4 hours per day (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)
- Five days a week
- Supporting one elementary students health and well-being
- Accompanying the student on the bus to and from school
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care tailored to the students specific health requirements
- Monitor and document health status throughout the school day and transportation times
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
- Communicate with caregivers and school staff to ensure comprehensive support
