We are seeking a dedicated RN or LPN to work with an elementary caseload in a contract to hire role, providing essential care to students throughout the academic year. This assignment is located near Wakefield, RI and runs from ASAP through June 20th. Youll work part-time16 hours per weekon a steady weekday schedule: mornings from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. and afternoons from 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. The school recognizes your commitment by paying for a full four hours a day regardless of time spent with students, ensuring you are valued and supported.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Active RN or LPN license in the state required
• Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with school staff
• Compassionate, flexible, and comfortable working with elementary-aged children
• Reliable and organized, with the ability to respond calmly in dynamic situations

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily health care management for assigned elementary students
• Administer medication, manage chronic conditions, and address acute health needs
• Collaborate closely with school faculty, families, and other support personnel
• Follow individualized care plans and district policies
• Keep accurate health records and communicate relevant information appropriately
