Job Description
A part-time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide healthcare support within an elementary school setting in Wakefield, RI. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers approximately 16 hours per week with split shifts from 8:00-9:30 AM and 2:45-4:15 PM. The school compensates for 4 hours daily regardless of time spent with students.

Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health services to elementary-aged students
- Monitor and manage student health needs during school hours
- Collaborate with school staff and administration to ensure student well-being
- Maintain accurate health records and follow school protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student health concerns
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN or LPN license
- Previous experience working in a school health setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a school team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to comply with all school district onboarding requirements, including any necessary background checks
Additional Information:
- One school assigned, targeting elementary level students
- Supervision may be provided by paraprofessionals or licensed staff as available
- Interview scheduling requires 24-hour notice; panel interviews conducted
- Training and orientation will be provided based on district guidelines
