In this vital role, you will:

• Conduct vision and hearing screenings for students, ensuring adherence to state guidelines and best clinical practices
• Monitor and assess student health, documenting findings and communicating effectively with families and school staff
• Collaborate with educators and school administration to implement individualized health care plans
• Provide emergency care and administer medication or treatments as prescribed
• Act as a resource for staff on health-related concerns and promote school-wide wellness initiatives

Qualifications and essential experience:

• Current and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Valid Audiology certification
• Previous nursing experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings is highly desirable
• Excellent assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills
• Adaptable, compassionate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a school environment
