A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide comprehensive school nursing services for a K-12 school located in Texico, NM. This contract position offers a full academic school year (CSY) schedule, working 37.5 hours per week and five days a week to support the health and well-being of students in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and first aid for students across all grade levels (K-12).
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and emergency protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments safely as prescribed.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote student health and attendance.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with state and school health regulations.
• Provide health education and counseling to students as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current New Mexico RN Certification is required.
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of common childhood illnesses, chronic conditions, and basic emergency care.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a school setting.
