Job Description
This position offers the opportunity to serve as a School Nurse in a campus clinic setting within a K-12 environment. The role involves providing nursing care and health education to students, including conducting hearing, vision, and spinal screenings.
Location: Copperas Cove, TX
Employment Type: Contract
Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Student Caseload: Serving multiple students daily
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas RN or LVN license
- Preferably experienced in hearing, vision, and spinal screenings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students
- Conduct routine health screenings such as hearing, vision, and spinal assessments
- Collaborate with school staff to support student health and safety
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Provide health education and support to students and families as needed
