A healthcare professional with expertise in telehealth and case management is sought to provide nursing support within an educational setting. This contract role involves supervising and delegating catheterization procedures conducted by a trained paraprofessional for a student requiring catheterization every three hours throughout the school day. The position offers up to 15 hours per week and is located in Cass City, MI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and delegating catheterization procedures to a trained paraprofessional
- Monitoring the students health status during catheterization intervals
- Providing telehealth support and nursing case management as needed
- Maintaining accurate health records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborating with school personnel and healthcare providers to ensure the students well-being
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Experience in telehealth nursing and case management
- Knowledge of catheterization procedures and ability to delegate effectively
