Job Description
A licensed RN with BSN certification is needed to provide dedicated nursing support within a K-12 school setting in Tacoma, WA. This role involves working one-on-one with a student who requires minor medical support, ensuring their health and well-being during the school day. The position is part-time, contract-based, and onsite for the remainder of the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and support to a student with minor medical needs
- Monitor the student's health status throughout the school day
- Communicate effectively with school staff and healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain accurate health documentation and comply with school health policies
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with BSN required, valid in Washington state
- Experience working in school health environments preferred
- Ability to work onsite and manage patient care with professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong communication and observation skills
Location:
- Tacoma, Washington
- K-12 school environment
Schedule:
- Part-time, 10 hours per week (2 hours per day, 5 days per week)
- Contract position through the end of the school year
