This position offers the chance to work onsite with a middle school student who is medically fragile, providing crucial 1:1 care during the school day. Your experience managing tracheostomy and G-tube needs will ensure a safe and supportive environment where the student can participate fully in their educational journey. The assignment runs from now through June, with a weekly schedule of 3537 hours.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in Maryland (MD RN required)
• Prior experience providing school-based or pediatric care
• Proven expertise in tracheostomy and G-tube management
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to supporting students in a caring, inclusive manner

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive 1:1 nursing care for a middle school student in accordance with their medical plan
• Monitor health status and respond promptly to changes or emergencies
• Administer medications, tube feedings, and manage tracheostomy duties throughout the school day
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care and any health incidents
• Serve as a resource to school staff regarding the students medical needs
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that promotes the students independence and participation
