A school-based RN/LPN opportunity is available in Athens, GA, providing essential healthcare services to young students aged 4 years. This full-time, contract position requires dedicated nursing professionals who are passionate about supporting pediatric health in an educational environment.
Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care, managing student health plans, administering medications, and responding to medical emergencies. The role demands recent trach experience and the ability to collaborate with school staff to ensure student well-being throughout the school day.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia RN or LPN license
- Trach care experience within the last year
- Previous experience in a school nursing or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school personnel
- Ability to work independently and handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Athens, GA
- Full-time contract role, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
