A school-based registered nurse opportunity is available on a contract basis supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role is located near Granby, Holyoke, and Northampton, MA, providing flexibility in commuting within these communities.
Responsibilities include covering health rooms, providing 1:1 nursing support during staff call outs or special events, and assisting with students who have a variety of disabilities. The position involves full-time coverage several times per month, working collaboratively with school personnel to ensure student health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students of all ages and needs, including those with diverse disabilities
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to provide compassionate care in a school setting
- Comfortable with both routine health care and emergency situations

- Contract timeframe: Immediate start through June 20, 2026
- Location proximity: South Hadley area with nearby cities approximately 10 to 25 minutes away
- Coverage includes multiple schools serving a K-12 population
