Contracts are available for both RNs and LPNs in a variety of settingsincluding school health offices, classrooms, and individualized 1:1 nursing support. These pivotal roles span the academic year from August 2026 through May 2027 and will cover multiple campuses within the district. While specific campus assignments will be confirmed by mid-May, candidates with a genuine passion for pediatric care and flexibility in placement are encouraged to pursue this exciting opportunity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active RN or LPN licensure required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- School nursing experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds in pediatric or community health settings are welcome
- Adaptability and comfort with varied clinical environments (health office, classroom, or one-on-one settings)
- Thoughtful communication and compassion in supporting the health needs of students and collaborating with school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing services to students in accordance with their health plans
- Deliver individualized care, including medication administration and monitoring chronic conditions
- Serve as a vital resource for health education and emergency interventions within the school community
- Foster a healthy and safe learning environment for all students and staff
- Accurately document services and uphold district policies and health regulations
