Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in the State of Illinois (required)
- Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential preferred
- Previous school nursing experience strongly desired
- Ability to fulfill any district/state-specific requirements (such as PEL certification if requested)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver essential RN coverage during the assignment period (August 19th to October 9th)
- Assess, screen, and respond to student health needs onsite
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student wellbeing
- Accurately document health records and maintain confidentiality
