A healthcare professional with nursing expertise is needed to support students in a dynamic educational environment in Seattle, WA. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work both with preschool and high school students, providing essential nursing care and support throughout the school week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care and health services in the preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays.
• Offer one-on-one nursing support at the high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
• Monitor and assess student health needs, administer medication, and manage health plans in accordance with individual care requirements.
• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the well-being and safety of students.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with all state nursing regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
• Experience working 1:1 with students or children is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support students and collaborate with school personnel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in a school health setting.

Location:

• Based in Seattle, WA, with assignments at both preschool and high school facilities.
• The position totals 32.5 hours per week, split between the preschool health room and high school one-on-one support.

Compensation:

• Registered Nurse (RN): $80 per hour.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $70 per hour.
