A school nursing professional with RN BSN credentials is needed to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational environment in Seattle, WA. This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to work directly onsite, delivering focused medical assistance to a student with minor medical support needs throughout the remainder of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 nursing care and support for a student requiring minor medical assistance
- Work onsite for 2 hours each school day, totaling 10 hours per week
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure student safety and well-being
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with relevant team members
Qualifications:
- Valid RN BSN license in the state of Washington
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage confidential health information in compliance with regulations
