What Were Looking For:
- Current RN license (Illinois)
- Experience with pediatric care in structured settings
- Proficiency in tracheostomy care, maintenance, and suctioning
- Ventilator certification and experience with equipment troubleshooting
- Competence in administering G-tube medications and tube feedings
- Calm, flexible demeanor and strong communication skills
Position Expectations:
- Deliver specialized nursing support to students during school hours
- Provide emergency care and routine procedures as needed, maintaining health records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families for integrated student care
- Educate staff and peers on health protocols relevant to student needs
- Participate in care planning and contribute to a healthy learning environment
