We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to work part-time during summer school near Saratoga Springs, NY. Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (unrestricted)
- Previous experience as a school RN or in a pediatric care setting preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students and staff during school hours
- Administer medications and manage care for students with chronic conditions or allergies
- Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and school policies
- Assist with health screenings, immunization monitoring, and documentation
- Respond quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies or injuries on campus
- Offer education and support on health, hygiene, and wellness for students and school personnel
