Qualifications:
- Active RN license with Credentialed School Nurse certification (must-have)
- School nursing experience working with medically complex and general education student populations
- Strong assessment and communication skills across multiple educational settings
- Ability to adapt quickly and collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to students in ESY at Valencia High and to general education students at other locations
- Monitor health needs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies during school hours
- Maintain accurate health records and coordinate care with faculty and school administration
- Provide health education and advocacy to support student well-being
