You'll provide crucial hearing and vision screenings and assist school nurses through the end of the academic year, making a lasting impact on young learners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California credential as CSN, RN, or LVN (required)
  • Experience in pediatric, school health, or public health settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across different school locations and age groups
  • Compassionate, collaborative, and proactive in student care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing and vision screenings for diverse student groups
  • Partner with existing school nurses to ensure consistent health services district-wide
  • Maintain diligent records in accordance with school health requirements
  • Adapt support to meet a varied caseload and a range of student needs
  • Participate in health-related programming to foster student and staff wellness

This assignment runs through the current school year, with a schedule aligned to the local student calendarperfect for RNs, CSNs, or LVNs searching for meaningful daytime hours.
