A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a contract position at an early childhood school in Santa Ana, CA. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized, one-on-one nursing care to a young student, supporting their health and well-being throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care including suctioning, tube feedings, and respiratory support
- Maintain close health monitoring for a single student in a 1:1 setting
- Coordinate and assist with transportation from home to school and back
- Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to implement care plans
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards
Qualifications:
- Active California RN license required
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
- Skilled in respiratory care, suctioning, and feeding tube management
- Ability to commit to 35 hours per week, typically 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, 5 days a week
- Reliable transportation and willingness to assist with student transport
Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
This position is contracted through the current school year, starting as soon as possible. The role supports a consistent schedule at one school site, providing a meaningful impact on the students health and educational experience.
