This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through early June, offering 6-hour days aligned with the school calendar. Youll work with a diverse population, performing essential hearing and vision screenings and collaborating closely with district nursing teams to ensure comprehensive care for students.

Desired Qualifications:
- Active California RN, LVN, or CSN credential required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Strong assessment skills, including conducting hearing and vision screenings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a school nurse team
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexible and adaptable with changing demands and student populations
What Youll Do:
- Conduct hearing and vision assessments for students across various age groups
- Provide day-to-day health support and triage according to school and district protocols
- Collaborate with other nurses and school staff to promote student wellness and safety
- Maintain accurate health and screening records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff, students, and families regarding health matters
