A healthcare position is available for a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified School Nurse (CSN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide essential nursing support within a school setting in the San Jose, California area. This contract role involves offering nursing services aligned with the school calendar in Morgan Hill Unified School District and nearby cities including Gilroy, San Martin, and Morgan Hill itself.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing and vision screenings for school-aged children.
- Support school nurses throughout the district with varied caseloads and student health needs.
- Follow health protocols and provide care consistent with student health requirements and disabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with school staff to ensure student health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid California license as a Certified School Nurse (CSN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- Experience working with school-aged children in a healthcare capacity preferred.
- Ability to work 6 hours per day following the school calendar for the remainder of the academic year.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage varying caseloads.

- Primary work locations include schools in San Jose, Gilroy, San Martin, and Morgan Hill, California.
This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to student health services within an educational environment.
