A contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Certified School Nurse (CSN) to provide essential nursing support within schools in the San Jose, CA area. This position requires a valid California credential as a CSN, RN, or LVN and will involve working closely with the school nursing team to contribute to student health and safety.
Responsibilities include conducting hearing and vision screenings, offering health support services, and assisting with the varied needs of students in accordance with the school calendar. This role supports multiple schools within the district, serving diverse student populations with a range of health requirements. The position is part-time, approximately 6 hours per day, aligned with the school district's academic calendar.
