Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid RN or LVN license required
- Current California School Nurse Services Credential (for RN candidates)
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and educational staff
- Confidence in providing first aid, medication administration, and emergency medical response
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students from May 27th through June 30th
- Administer medications, respond to health emergencies, and manage chronic conditions per care plans
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Educate students and staff on health practices and support individualized care needs
- Collaborate closely with faculty and parents, fostering a healthy school environment
This assignment is situated at a welcoming elementary school and is designed for professionals ready to step in and contribute from day one. Candidates must possess the appropriate California credentials as requested by school leadership. The consistent Monday to Friday schedule runs from 8:00am to 4:30pm, allowing for optimal work-life balance.
