Job Description

A healthcare role is available for a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified School Nurse (CSN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) providing essential health services. The position involves supporting school nurses across various schools, following the districts student calendar for approximately 6 hours per day. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through early June of the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing and vision screenings for students across multiple schools.
  • Support day-to-day health services as part of the school nursing team.
  • Assist with managing diverse student health needs and disabilities.
  • Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations in school or clinical settings.
  • Strong understanding of student health protocols, screenings, and disability accommodations.
  • Ability to work according to the school calendar and manage multiple school assignments.
  • Availability to start immediately with flexibility to meet the roles demands.

Location: Morgan Hill, San Jose, Gilroy, and San Martin, California.
