A travel opportunity in Salem, OR is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in school health services. This role supports students in grades 3 through 5, providing essential nursing care within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing assessments and care tailored to the health needs of elementary-aged students.
- Maintain accurate health records and collaborate with school staff and families to promote student well-being.
- Manage medication administration and emergency health interventions in accordance with state regulations.
- Support health education initiatives and contribute to creating a safe, healthy school environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Nursing Licensure (RN) required.
- Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) or relevant experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally within grades 3-5.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively.
- Ability to work independently while traveling to assigned schools.
Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
