This opportunity is for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide essential healthcare services within an educational setting serving children in grades 3-5. The role involves managing a caseload of students and supporting their health and wellness to promote a safe, healthy learning environment.

Location: Salem, OR
Schedule: Full-time contract position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care and health assessments to students within the assigned grade levels
• Develop individualized care plans and maintain accurate health records
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health needs
• Manage medication administration and respond to emergencies appropriately
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives among students

Qualifications:

• Current Oregon Nursing Licensure (RN required)
• Experience as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) or equivalent school health nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, families, and school personnel
• Ability to manage multiple student health care needs and prioritize tasks efficiently
