This travel assignment offers an opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential health support within an elementary school setting in Saint Paul, MN. The Building RN will manage the health office and play a vital role in promoting student wellness during the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage health office operations in an elementary school environment.
- Support students with chronic and acute health conditions.
- Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries.
- Assist with health screenings and assessments for special services referrals.
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Minnesota required.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minnesota Public Health certification is a plus.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: public health, community health, pediatrics, or school health.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Elementary school in Saint Paul, MN.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Hours: Approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes per day.
- Assignment Length: Remainder of the school year.
- Travel position allowing exposure to diverse school health environments.
