Workdays run Monday through Thursday, 7:45am to 12:15pm, allowing for exceptional work-life balance and flexibility in your schedule. Youll be part of a collaborative team, delivering essential healthcare services in a nurturing academic environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota RN or LPN/LVN license required
- Previous experience working as a school nurse or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and parents
- Proficient assessment and clinical skills to respond to a variety of student health needs
- Confidence in managing a K-12 caseload in a busy school environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and emergency care for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Administer medications and treatment in accordance with physician orders and district policies
- Monitor student health conditions, manage chronic illnesses, and respond to acute issues as needed
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics
- Communicate proactively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student health concerns
- Support the well-being of the school community by following guidelines and protocols
