A healthcare professional with a Registered Nurse (RN) license is needed to provide on-call nursing support within a K-12 school setting in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position covers the school calendar year and requires flexibility to support absences such as call-outs or planned vacation coverage for school nurses or direct student care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and support to students and staff during on-call assignments.
- Cover nursing office duties as required, including health screenings, medication administration, and student assessments.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure student health needs are met promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with healthcare and school policies.
- Respond with professionalism and care in fast-paced, dynamic school environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, required.
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare settings preferred.
- Ability to work on-call hours with no guaranteed scheduling.
