School Nurse Job near Sunbelt is seeking aSchool Nurse in Maplewood, MN

area. This is a part-time positionfor this school year.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have an active RN or LPN license in MN
  • Collaborates on and reviews emergency medical care and routine injury/illness care policies, protocols, and facilities.
  • Recommends measures for control of communicable diseases and coordination of emergency medical situations within schools or the school district (including the outbreak of flu epidemics).
  • Provides advice and recommendations regarding maintaining a healthy work environment.
  • Assists in providing training or staff development programs related the school health and medical issues.
Job Details:

  • Provide direct health services, emergency care, and medication administration to students.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Health Care Plans (IHPs) to support students with medical needs.

  • Conduct health screenings, maintain immunization compliance, and ensure adherence to state health regulations.

  • Collaborate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers to promote wellness, safety, and student success.
